Wally Pockets by Woolly Pockets is very easy to install. It is a modular system that allows the user to create a wall garden of any size or shape. The felted fabric is tough and the stitching is robust. Compared to other similar systems the plants have a generous amount of room to grow enabling a wide range of plant species to be installed.

The larger pockets coupled with the interior lining assists with minimising water evaporation.  Wally is one of the first modular vertical garden systems to enter the DIY market back in 2009. It is one of the most expensive fabric wall planters however the product offers greater durability than many of the cheaper alternatives. Each pocket can fit up to 4 plants in 20cm pots.

Wally by Woolly Pockets is very easy to install. It is a modular system that allows the user to create a wall garden of any size or shape.

The felted fabric is tough and the stitching is robust. Wally is available in three sizes and three colours Chocolate, Black and Turquoise. The system is not great if there is no existing wall. This is not a free standing solution. It can be difficult to arrange the plants in such a way that the pockets are fully covered. The product can create a certain 70’s style to a vertical garden. Think ‘shaggy carpet’.
